Exposing some cheek

This is just quick and amusing blurb. I can't get all serious today although one might argue that today is the most important day to be serious about the American experiment with liberal democracy.

Nonetheless, this past week saw Maryland's Governor, Robert Ehrlich, announcement his running mate for the fall elections. He chose Kristen Cox, a blind mother of two, to run with him as Lt. Governor. Friday, WaPo announced this event with the headline,

Cheeky. No one can think that wasn't purposefully risque and it quickly disappeared, to be replaced by

With Choice of Gubernatorial Partner, Ehrlich Woos Female Voters

Staid, the crassness expunged, though not from the record of the paper.
