It's the right time...

The "culture of life" marches on today.

No doubt spurred on by South Dakota's recent legislative move, Mississippi state lawmakers are now considering a near complete ban on abortion, with an exception only if the mother's life is threatened. No exceptions for rape or incest would be allowed. Governor Barbour said he would probably sign the bill, if passed.

Given that Mississippi's state legislature is a rabid band of misogynistic good ol' boys, the likelihood that this bill will not pass hovers around zero, as Republicans are clearly bent stirring up the values voters, just in time for primaries.

The politiking in this country is becoming a near unbearable embarrassment.
