In Defense of Lying

You really have got to go check out the braintrust at Powerline, as they twist and contort in all manner possible, downplaying the release of the pre-Katrina video of the conference between Bush, Brown and other disaster management officials. Simply astounding.

Naturally, it's assrocket doing what he does worst. Since he apparently wrote this before he saw the video, he claims that AP didn't release the video, no doubt so that they could embellish the embarrassement with their own slanted eyes.

Ultimately though, it doesn't matter, you see because the crux of the issue is that the warnings only spoke of the "levees overtopping" and not actually breaking, so there really wasn't all that much concern. But the real issue for assrocket? Someone leaked the video to the press, someone who must surely be an America-hater.
