It is probably not a good sign of the times that when The Onion publishes stories like this and you don't necessarily know it's an Onion story, you actually stop and think ... really? Ok, maybe the reaction might be more like, what is that freaking idiot doing now!? Like it might actually be the case that Bush would propose such a thing.
