Dude, you're gettin' a lawsuit

Speaking of graft, it looks like Dell Computers has gotten itself into a bit of a "situation." It seems Dell was taking kick-backs from Intel for exclusive use of Intel chips. Investors have filed a lawsuit for

artificially inflating profits "by secretly receiving approximately $250 million a quarter in likely illegal rebate kickbacks payments" from Intel in return for an exclusive deal to purchase Intel's microprocessors....

Fortunately for Dell's spokesman, the "pending litigation" served as the premise preventing him from offering up a steaming pile of half-truths, semi-lies and evasive obfuscations. Lawsuits aren't all bad.
