Since there doesn't seem to be any extant dirt floating around this guy -- which is rather astounding in this administration -- and given his truly grueling schedule -- four trips to China in six months -- Tim Adams' reasons for his resignation might actually be true and may in fact be the first documented case of a Bush administration official resigning for the actual reason stated.

U.S. Treasury Undersecretary for International Affairs Tim Adams said on Friday he was resigning to spend more time with his wife and children.
