Identity crisis

There is little on the political landscape that can be enjoyed more than the sight of GOP supporters digusted by the behaviour of their cherished congressional Republicans. Indeed, the recent flare-up surrounding Mark Foley and the now revealed cover-up by the GOP House leadership, is a near singular and rare treat in an otherwise bleak campaign season that has seen political expediency served by the passage of one of the most egregiously vile bills in US history. This disgust rarely emerges in response to Republican warmongering, lobbyist scandals or coroporate welfare, however, but from personal sexual misconduct, especially as it is seen in this Foley debacle. I guess these folks still haven't figured out that strident, moralizing politicians are among the most hypocritical of all nature's creatures.
