Break down, shake down

Oh yeah, November is going to be smoooooth.
100 voting machines broken

Philadelphia - More than 100 voting machines are reported to be broken across the city, the Daily News has learned.

Apparently, the machines were broken when polls opened this morning -- they keep spitting out the paper tape that keeps the tally of the vote. It is the largest breakdown since we started using the new voting machines.

...

this problem was happening AT EVERY VOTING MACHINE IN THE CITY.
Actually, this could be the best thing that has happened to election prospects in sometime. It is obvious at this point that Diebold and rest of the dishonest voting machine ratfuckers are also utterly incompetent. Maybe the whole e-voting thing will get scrapped, as it should. At least until it can be organised under the public domain rather than Republican affliliated corporations.

Then again, when have election "snags" ever caught the serious attention of anyone higher in the governmental structure than local voting rights groups? The answer might not be never, but it is pretty close.
