I think hotpotatomash will like this one. Matt Groenig tells us that they cannot run caartoon news tickers on The Simpsons because Fox viewers are so dumb they think that this would be real news. Although, one has to admit that news on Fox is easily confused with cartoons.

u got that right. very interesting that the higher ups have censored the simpsons. according to bill o'reilly and others there is absolutely positively no connection between fox and fox news -- especially when fox was set to air the oj interview which was completely over the line. thankfully, fox news viewers joined forces with the "big man" and were able to put the kabosh on the interview and, subsequently, the book.
i just feel lucky that somebody is looking out for me.
