Military Smackdown

When military leaders of the US armed forces, especially those formerly in command of Middle East forces, come forth and declare Iraq to be the disaster reasonable minds know it to be, there is always cause for celebration. Such a moment occurred this morning on Meet the Press, when former Middle East commander of US forces, General Anthony Zinni, called for the resignation of Rumsfeld and delivers a shellacking to Secretary of State Rice for her idiot comments, previously noted here, about "thousands of tactical errors."
We just heard the Secretary of State say these were tactical mistakes. These were not tactical mistakes. These were strategic mistakes, mistakes of policies made back here. Don’t blame the troops. They're the ones that perform the tactics on the ground. They’ve been magnificent. If anything saves us, it will be them.
Really, click through and watch Zinni smack those dumb-asses. It is a thing of beauty.
